‘How To’ resources for your project pre-work

I have put together some quick video tutorials to help you with the Website design briefing form and the Website setup details (like Google Analytics etc). If you run into any issues with doing these, please let me know

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Usually, no extra call is needed if your form is detailed. In the rare case that the first concept isn’t aligned, we’ll refine it—and you’ll have access to tutorials for Pinterest mood boards to support the process. If I need clarification, I’ll get in touch, or you’re welcome to book a call.

  • This helps me understand your preferred image style—whether it’s herbs, textures, people, or a mix. You can browse my curated collections here:

  • Pinterest is great for finding layouts and structural inspiration. You don’t need to match fonts or colours—just focus on the feel and flow. Use it the same way you did for your logo mood board.

  • No. If you have a link, send it through so I can add it. If not, I’ll leave the buttons unlinked and you can update them later.

  • I get it—life happens. If you don’t have your content or prework submitted by the due date (usually the Thursday before your start date), your project will be rescheduled to the next available spot in my calendar.

Because I book multiple projects in advance, I can’t hold your design slot open without all the essentials. That said, I’ll always give you a heads-up beforehand, and you’re welcome to reach out if you’re unsure whether you’re on track or need an extension. I’m here to support you through the process, not pressure you.

  • Yes, you can definitely set this up later. Your website will be built to support email marketing when you're ready—whether that’s a newsletter, opt-in freebie, or automated welcome sequence.

If you already have a platform in mind (like MailerLite, Flodesk, or ConvertKit), I can connect it during the design process. If not, I’ll leave any buttons or forms unlinked for now.

When you're ready to set it up, just reach out—I'm happy to provide a custom quote depending on what you need (e.g. platform setup, integration, automations, or design).

  • If you want to understand how people are finding and using your website, then yes—Google Analytics is a helpful tool to have. It allows you to track visitor numbers, traffic sources (like Google or social media), and which pages people are engaging with most.

That said, it’s completely optional. If you’d like it connected, just tick the box in your prework form and I’ll set it up for you. If you're unsure, I can always add it later or provide a quote to walk you through the setup when you're ready.

  • Yes—you’ll need to register and manage your domain name independently. I recommend using VentraIP (Australian-based, reliable support), but you’re welcome to use any provider you’re comfortable with.

Once it’s registered, I’ll guide you through connecting it to your new website as part of the design process.
